Hey I’m Thomas Düll working for a newspaper in Leipzig (Leipziger Volkszeitung). At the moment I am writing a story about the knitting-, sewing-trend in Germany and found your blog in the CUT-magazine. Would it be possible to interview one or more of you for my article? Unfortunatelly I cannot join you on wednesday in StrickenBar (SystmBar), so maybe we could meet on friday (october 15th)? Has anyone of you time for a little (30 min) talk about how and when this trend started in Germany, what kind of people joined knitting and sewing, what is the great thing about it (photo inc.)? My girlfriend is also sewing but it would be strange to interview her for my article. So could you please help me?

Hey there,
A friend told me about that cool StrickenBar project of yours. I’m still studying and also knitting on my own from time to time. Many of my fellow students are, like me, using the lectures or seminars to knit or crochet. Sometimes it even helps concentrating..
For a course I would like to write an article, report or interview with pictures, featuring the strickenbar and guerilla knitting, to inform my fellow students about it (they will love it

Unfortunately, my deadline is 5th of march, so it seems like I can’t experience a StrickenBar-Meeting myself before writing the article.
If one of the organisers would like to answer a few questions by mail, I would be very happy and it would help a lot.

I find this new knitting hype pretty fascinating and would love to start knitting in nice compay. Do you know if there is something like the StrikenBar in Hamburg, too? Couldn’t find more than mylys.de, and I’m not sure if this is realy what I’m looking for.
