This days, we participate at “Mailles” exhibition at la Maison du Danemark in Paris.

For this event we decided to work on landscapes seen from the sky.

We each choose a place we love and  knitted them.

Worldwide exclusive news : we were all the 4 members of the CFT for the apero-tricot at Poppy Pantone and also to answer Dorothée’s questions for Citazine magazine !

It’s rare because Ema and Oryanne live in Berlin and Soso and Quinc in Paris…

The Big Breast, a nice initiative of yarnbombing to fight together against breast cancer.

Goal is to make the 1st of october an international day dedicated to battle against breast cancer by letting boobs knitting in the street!

Ema participated to the event with boobs with percing on a bench.

Other knitters from the whole world let a small or big contribution to this noble cause.

In July we have been contacted by the agency Edelkoort for a funny and strange project!

Knitting with mohair wool to promote the brand Mohair South Africa…
Knitting directly on models’ bodies…
Knitting with different topics related to body and its representation…

You know us, you were imediatly seduced by this great project!

The whole project is made to create a serie of videos for a fair in New York and Shanghai !

After a couple days thinking about the topic we were ready!
Gemma, an adorable 29 years old student helpt us into this adventure!
We spent a full week-end knitting, crocheting and braiding around bodies and models.

The CFT is currently covering a dead tree on Chez Jacki‘s terrasse with blue wool. Half of the tree is covered, so help us to finish it!

Rules are simple:
∆ Pick up blue wool at the StrickenBar at Etsy Labs.
∆ Knit any size in rectangular shape (no rond shape)!
∆ Use any pattern you want to!
∆ Wool pompom are more than welcome!
∆ You can also knit before and bring your work.

Don’t be shy – any blue knitted piece even with hole is welcome!

We have been invited to imagine an instalation that we can’t wait to share with you… It is still secret untill the opening!

We will show our work with other artists working with wool as well: Art Orienté Objet, Françoise Dupré, Isabel Berglund, Hanne G, Alexandra Bircken.

Collectif France Tricot were at the last Rock en Seine festival of Saint-Cloud.

It was a corner sponsored by Converse and we were invited to teach people how to custom Converse Tote bag with wool.

Because of the lack of time and patience, a lot of people prefered to embroidered with wool.
